"We are not sticking to the web route despite the theme and content of Pendulum which deals with time travel and magic realism as I wish it to be appreciated by the theatre-going audiences," journalist-turned-director Soukarjya Ghosal told PTI here.
"It is a 'stock' film not shot on hand-held cams and with net speed still at snail's place in our country there will be little point in uploading a full-length feature. Besides every film maker believes his work can be best viewed and appreciated and backed by audiences in theatres. From subject, to camera angle to shot division, the entire work can be felt more on big screen," Soukarjya said.
"I am also waiting to share the experience I missed in Rupkatha Noy," the doe-eyed actor said referring to her previous Bengali film.
The young Tagore in Rituparno Ghosh's Jibonsmriti, Samadarshi Dutta said "It is very unlike other subjects of Bengali films thematically and I am the link."
