India attaches great importance to ties with Iran: Prez

India attaches great importance to its relationship with Iran which is "multi-faceted and mutually beneficial", President Pranab Mukherjee said today while greeting his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani on the eve of Nouroz day being celebrated tomorrow.
In his message on the occasion, the President said the close bilateral relations between the two countries reflect the people-to-people links and historical-civilisational bonds over centuries.
"We attach great importance to this relationship which is multi-faceted and mutually beneficial," he said while extending his greetings to the Iranian President and people of Iran.
