India CEO appointed to Grant Thornton Intl Board of Governors
Press Trust of India New Delhi Grant Thornton India CEO and National Managing Partner Vishesh C Chandiok has been appointed to Grant Thornton International Ltd's (GTIL) Board of Governors, effective January 1.
He is the youngest person to have been appointed to GTIL's BoG, said the assurance, tax and advisory firm.
The BoG consists of the Global CEO, representatives from 12 countries and three independent Board members.
"We hope to leverage some of his experience as we think about our growth plans in other high growth markets," said Scott Barnes Non-Executive Chair of the BoG, GTIL.
BoG is the principal decision making authority within GTIL. Its responsibilities include approving strategic direction and policies of the firm.
