Addressing the fifth China-India Forum meeting here, state industry minister Gajendra Singh said that next two-three decades belong to Asian economies, and India and China together have a huge potential.
"The winds of change have been blowing... Around 15-20 years back, the manufacturing and service sectors belonged to Europe and America but soon the Asia made a major dent in the Western economies," he said.
"With the current global recession, there is a major challenge for all the major economies. If countries could capitalize on each other's strengths by alliance and partnership, then it would be mutually beneficial for both countries. China today is one of the very major economies of the world and India is an aspiring economy with a great future," the minister said.
"Rajasthan is the state with high potential state with fast growing GDP. We are pioneer in amendment in labour laws, our labours are cheap and there are no law and order issues. 40 per cent of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial corridor runs through the state and many knowledge cities, IT cities, smart cities, medical cities, tourism cities are in the offing along this corridor," the minister said.

Singh said the corridor will have fast moving trains by the end of 2018 and an airport near Neemrana (Alwar) is also being planned.
