Both the nations also adopted a plan of action for exchange of cooperation during a meeting between Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions V Narayanasamy and a five-member Chinese delegation led by Human Resources Minister Yin Weimin.
"This is a good beginning as far as India and China are concerned. Apart from having collaborations in the field of commerce, industry, especially in the information technology, at the diplomatic level and now at the administrative level also, India and China becoming very closer," Narayanasamy said.
He said the exchange programme will be for having an efficient administrative function.
"The best practices adopted in China, India will adopt, and the best practices which we are following in our country, that they will take from us," he said.
Both the nations also shared their experiences in the areas of civil services, capacity building, health care of Central Government employees, public service delivery, pension benefits and public sector reforms.
Giving details of the initiative, Narayanasamy said that wide spectrum of administration including recruitment policy, promotion policy, career progression policy, performance appraisal of officers, grievances redressal mechanism, public sector management and human resources among others will be part of the programme.
