"In 60 years of my political career, I have not seen such a crisis," Joshi told a gathering of state party workers here.
"We are facing security problems from all four sides of our international borders...Our soldiers are being killed at the borders," he said.
"Rupee is shrinking...The market is going down. Is this not a crisis? The PM should at least reply as an economist," Joshi said.
"Rupee's continuous devaluation against US dollar, rising inflation, unemployment problem, FDI in retail, and attack on India's cultural and moral values have gripped the nation led by UPA and its allies.
Calling upon BJP party workers to uproot the corrupt governments at both Centre and states, Joshi said, "If you want to save the nation, its border, devalued rupees, FDI's threat, reduce inflation and check prices, get united now and bring the party in the states and at the Centre".
