India happy over Nepal's progress in drafting Constitution

India today said it respects Nepalese people's aspiration for a stable, peaceful and prosperous country and expressed confidence that the new Constitution will be framed within the stipulated time-frame.
Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae expressed happiness over the progress made by the people and political parties of Nepal towards drafting the new Constitution.
He said India respects Nepalese people's aspiration for a stable, peaceful and prosperous country.
"We are confident that Nepal would be able to take the peace process to a logical conclusion and accomplish the task of drafting the Constitution within the stipulated time- frame," he said.
"This will ultimately help in attaining political stability, development and economic prosperity for the country.
