India is on the path of becoming 'Vishwa Guru': Harsh Vardhan

Union minister Harsh Vardhan today claimed that the country is on the path of becoming a "Vishwa Guru" while highlighting the achievements of the Modi government at the Centre in the last three years.
Addressing the Delhi BJP's 'Sab ka Sath Sab ka Vikas' programme here, he said under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the country's development in all sectors is on the fast lane and the government is sincerely committed to uplift the poor.
"The Modi government is taking India on a path of the development and the country will soon be a Vishwa Guru," Harsh Vardhan said.
Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal said implementation of the GST that appears tough at present, will improve the country's revenue besides bringing "smiles" on the faces of traders and consumers.
"With public support and our fast economic growth, by the mid 21st century India will be an economic powerhouse and lead Asia," he said.
Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said the Start Up scheme launched for the youth will turn them into big employment generators by the year 2022.
BJP vice president Shyam Jaju, party MP Udit Raj, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta and others also present at the event.
