About 300 Chinese investors took part in the India-China Business Seminar organised by the Indian Embassy.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Amit Narang highlighted the India's remarkable improvement in the Ease of Doing Business ranking by the World Bank, an Indian Embassy statement here said today.
Emphasising the complementarity between Indian and Chinese companies in the economic arena, he encouraged all the companies to visit India and invest in India, it said.
The event also saw sector-specific presentations made on the renewable energy and food processing sectors in India by Bujaya Kumar Behera from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and Ruchin Gupta from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Representatives from Chinese Companies like Huawei and Guiyang Aluminium and Magnesium Design and Research Institute Limited shared their experience of investing successfully in India.
