Nepal and India are culturally tied together and the two countries should move towards economic prosperity and development by preserving their cultural identity, BJP legislator Bhagat Singh Koshiari said.
Stressing on the need for drafting a new Constitution within the next five months as promised by the Nepalese leaders, Koshiari said India is ready to provide whatever help Nepal needs for its development and economic prosperity.
He was addressing a function organised by yoga guru Ramdev's Patanjali Yoga Peeth, Nepal at Mandikhatar on the outskirt of Kathmandu to mark the victory of BJP leader Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha election.
He wished every success to the Modi government and appreciated his efforts to establish close ties with neighbouring countries by inviting them in his swearing-in ceremony.
