The event, 'Temples, Forts and Palaces: 2000 Years of Indian Architecture', hosted by the Embassy of India in Belgrade, in collaboration with the New Delhi-based Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was inaugurated yesterday.
The exhibition documents India's glorious achievements from pre-historic times to the end of the first millennium CE through its temples, forts, palaces and cities, the Indian Embassy here said in a statement.
It showcases magnificence of India's heritage from ancient times till today. A vast and ancient country, India has a long and continuous cultural tradition spanning more than 2500 years and the synthesis of traditions over time is highlighted in this exhibition.
