India follows the policy of keeping good relations with neighbouring countries to enhance cooperation, Union minister Uma Bharti has said.
The minister, while speaking at a seminar in Kota, said that the Indian culture has many life values due to which people from all religions thrive here.
"The country follows the policy of good relations with neighbours so that the cooperation could be enhanced," Bharti said.
The minister claimed that under the NDA government rule, the women are getting more opportunities to grow and prosper.
Bharti said that several commercial and cultural changes have taken place in the country, leading to an increase in the opportunities for women to become self-dependent.
The seminar, which was also attended by the Kota MP Om Birla, saw Bharti motivating the students from various institutes in the city -- popularly known as the coaching hub -- to remain energetic, goal-oriented and positive.
The Union minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation also exhorted the students to stay away from social evils and refrain from using plastic to protect the environment and rivers.
