Mittal aggregated 138 over five rounds, while Dahiya Sangram ended 30th with a total of 132, and Mohammad Asab shot 131 to finish 33rd.
Mittal had two rounds of 27, including the first one, and that did not help his cause. He shot 28 in the last two rounds, but they were not enough to earn himself a berth among the top 6 shooters, entitled to shoot in the finals.
The men's and women's trap are the two events left in the tournament, which will conclude with the men's trap finals on Sunday.
