The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu will host the event on Sunday to be held at its premises.
On the occasion live demonstration of Yoga, lecture on Yoga and practice of meditation will be organised, according to a press release issued by the embassy today.
Yoga is a 5,000-year-old physical, mental and spiritual practices having its origin in India, which aims to transform body and mind.
"The embassy is organising the programme on Yoga in association with various organisations including Patanjali Yoga Ashram and Aurovindo Yoga Ashram, Nepal," said Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae at a press conference.

Various programmes will also be organised in Birgunj, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Bhairahawa and Lumbini outside Kathmandu.
The UN General Assembly had last year adopted a draft resolution, declaring June 21 as International Day of Yoga.
The idea for declaring an International Day of Yoga at the UN was formally proposed by Prime Minister Modi in his maiden address to the 69th General Assembly session in September last year.
