The four-day-long Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference will start on November 9.
A round-table meeting on November 9 will showcase and promote domestic manufacturing of various equipments used in the petroleum and natural gas sector, under the Make-in-India initiative.
The meeting has been organised with a view to position India as an investment destination across the hydrocarbons value chain.
The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, is organising the Make-in-India pavilion.

Focus will also be on collaborating and partnering with global industry experts that have achieved a level of excellence in the field of technological innovation in various segments of the hydrocarbon sector. Efforts will also be made to actively pursue investors' facilitation activities through Investor's meeting and exhibition.
Talmiz Ahmad, Honorary Advisor for the Gulf, FICCI and Former Indian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE will make opening remarks at a CEOs meeting on 'Unleashing Investment Potential and Building Opportunities & Partnerships' for domestic hydrocarbons sector.
The presentation will also include current status of Make-in-India in the sector and highlight specific investment opportunities and steps being taken as its part.
The round-table will have Special Address by India's Ambassador to the UAE, T P Seetharam, and Key Note Address by A K Singh, Additional Secretary & FA, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. Sashi Shankar, Director (T & FS), ONGC, is also scheduled to speak on the occasion.
