Union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste on Monday said India will suitably handle the diplomatic nitty-gritty at the international level in view of the withdrawal of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a historic decision, the Centre on August 5 revoked the special status enjoyed by J&K under Article 370. Subsequently, Parliament also passed a bill to bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories.
"In current circumstances, the world is with India. This (Handling the situation post revocation of the special status) is not a big issue. We will talk through the diplomatic channels. India will, whatever the circumstances, will reply responsibly. I can only say that the issue will be dealt with suitably," the MoS for Steel told reporters in Mandla.
He was responding to a question on Pakistan's attempts to raise the revocation issue aggressively at various international forums.
"After doing away with the special status of J&K under Article 370, the entire country supported the move, as a result of which no incident of violence has been reported," said the minister.
