The company had reported a net profit of Rs 686.06 crore in the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal.
Its total revenue for the quarter under review rose to Rs 3,342.48 crore, up 16.26 per cent, from Rs 2,874.94 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
In a separate filing, the company said its Board has declared an interim dividend of Rs 9 per equity share for the financial year 2017-18.
