Indian Army, Chattisgarh win men's, women's trophy

Indian Army won the 51st All India Basketball PSG Trophy for men, while Chattisgarh emerged winners of the 14th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, which concluded here today.
In a neck to neck game, Army men from Delhi, who were runners in the last edition, defeated Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai 59-53.
Gopalram scored 17 and Arockya Babu 10 for the winners, while Sivabalan 19 and Rikin Pethani nine for the runners.
In the closely contested women's match Chattisgarh defeated KSEB 84-78 to win the CRI Pumps Trophy.
Poonam Chaturvedi top-scoreed with 48 points for the winners, while Grima Merlin Varghese scored 19 points for the KSEB.

Both the teams won by six points.
