Dutta's novel "Hold My Hand" features a love story set in Hong Kong.
"India, with its rapidly growing outbound tourism, is one of Hong Kong's five key new markets. We hope that our initiatives, including the book, will help consolidate Hong Kong's presence in the market and attract more Indians to Hong Kong," Anthony Lau, Executive Director HKTB, said here today.
Dutta, 26, who has previously penned four books said, "My previous books are mostly set in urban India, and working with the HKTB gave me the opportunity to try a different setting. I would say the city is fantastic for a romantic adventure."
"He will tell people about his experiences in Hong Kong and the HKTB will be using Social Networking Services and mobile apps for promotional activities," Lau told PTI.

A contest would invite film students to produce short videos based on the book.
"We will premiere the winning film shot by them at the end of the year. Winter is a popular season for Indian honeymooners and young couples to travel abroad, to reinforce the HKTB's marketing effort," Lau said.
HKTB is also collaborating with major attractions and other trade partners in Hong Kong to develop a special "Hold My Hand" travel package that features romantic places visited by the novel's protagonists.
Some of the attractions in Hong Kong are Sky 100, Hong Kong Observation Deck, theme parks like Ocean Park and Disneyland, the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, the Po Lin Monastery, Victoria Peak and the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
The HKTB has a presence in 6 cities in the country - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai.
