The 11-member delegation from Confederation of Indian Industry led by Sreeni Tripuraneni, Chairman & CEO of 4G Identity Solutions Private Ltd, reached here on Friday.
During their visit, the delegation will hold a meeting with Egyptian Business Development Association (EBDA).
The delegation will also call on the Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade of Egypt and also meet senior officials in the Ministry of Administrative Development and Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
Egypt has traditionally been one of India's most important trading partners in the African continent.
During 2011-12, total bilateral trade increased 33 per cent from USD 3.2 billion to USD 4.2 billion.
India is Egypt's 7th largest trading partner.

During the year 2011-12, India was 11th largest source of Egyptian imports while India ranked 2nd in the list of top target countries of Egyptian exports.
The governments and the business communities in India and Egypt are working closely to promote bilateral economic relations and the visit of the CII Business delegation is part of the efforts to expand commercial and economic relations between Egypt and India.
