"I have travelled to 49 countries in the world and found his (Dr Ambedkar) name with utmost respect," Rahi said at a day-long international seminar on "Farsightedness of Social Justice: The Indian Constitution" held at Bhim Rao Ambedkar University of Social Sciences (BRAUSS) here, on the occasion of the "Constitution Day".
Criticising Manusmriti, he said though Manu had written authoritative Hindu law book (Dharmashtra), nobody in the world knows about him or the text.
"The biggest achievement of the Constitution is that it binds people of various castes, belief and faiths which remained scattered due to disagreements earlier," he said.
He said that Ambedkar commands immense respect across the world.
