India's three-member team comprising Gaurika Bishnoi, Ridhima Dilawari and Nishtha Madan dropped further three places to be 12th on the final day of the 37th Queen Sirikit Cup, Asia-Pacific Invitational ladies team golf championship, here today.
The trio qualified from the Queen Sirikit Cup selection trails organized by The Indian Golf Union at Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, Noida, last month.
Currently no. 2 on the IGU's ladies order of merit list, Dilawari brought the best card amongst the three, shooting four-over 76 while Bishnoi, ranked 3rd and Madan, ranked 7th, both returned with a scorecard of eight-over 80.
It left Indian team on 156 for the three-day team total of 454, after counting the two best scores of each day, at the Hong Kong Golf Club, Fanling.
Bishnoi, who struggled to come back with low score today, said, "My putting was completely off today. I shot three-over in front nine and five-over in back nine. I was missing everything from the lip of the hole. But overall it was a great experience.
"I have learnt a lot everyday and crowd was very supportive. If not a great result, this tournament has surely shown me a realistic picture of my game and now I know that I need to be better prepared for these kind of tournaments in future."
Korea once again dominated the 13-nation field and ran away with the trophy for a record 17th time at 422.
