After the successful launch of leading Indian jewellery brand Outhouse last winter Prerto's designer pieces are also now in demand in Karachi, according to Entrepreneur and designer Fatima Ahmed.
"I am not surprised because where fashion is concerned there is so much in common between the two countries and the style and latest fashion fads in Bollywood are closely watched in Pakistan," Fatima who is selling the designer jewellery brand Prerto said.
She said she had started with limited supplies of the jewellery brand but due to increasing demand she was getting regular supplies now.
"The great thing about these Indian designer brands is that they have a star-studded clientele, including Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor etc and each piece is unique," she said.
According to Fatima the Indian jewellery brands have established a great reputation worldwide and they stand out for Pakistan clientele.
The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is in favour of encouraging more trade and business with India and their senior official Zubair Motiwala said it was a good sign that private entrepreneurs in Pakistan were ready to bring Indian brands to the Pakistani market.
Fatima says that the best part about the Indian designer brand she is selling is that its price range is affordable as it is between 4,000 and 30,000 and above.
The Indian jewellery collection currently includes statement necklaces, headgear, earrings and hand harnesses Sana feels it is a great blend of Eastern and Western designs and can be worn with all sorts of outfits.
