The Table Tennis Federation of India secretary said India is among five countries the ATTU has handpicked to provide the services of a Chinese coach.
"The ATTU is pleased with the progress of our junior players and so it has decided to provide us the services of a Chinese coach. The ATTU will bear the salary of the coach and we just need to take care of his food and accommodation," Chaudhary told PTI.
The TTFI secretary general also informed that India will host next year's Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships.
Chaudhary said the decision to award India the hosting rights was taken at the ATTU meeting which was held during last month's senior Asian Championships in Busan.
"India will also host the 2014 Asian Junior Championships. The venue and dates have not yet been finalised but it will be held sometime in August next year. We are thinking of holding the event in southern part of the country since for a long time we did not host any tournament there. Bangalore is our first preference," he said.
