Indian men draw against top seed Russia, eves hold Ukraine

Indian men surprsied top seeded Russia to eke out a 2-2 in the 10th round of the World Chess Olympiad at Baku, Azerbaijan today.
Following on the footsteps of their male counterparts, the Indian eves also drew their match against Ukraine 2-2.
It was a do or die match for both the Indian teams aiming for a podium finish.
In the 2014 Olympiad, India won the bronze medal.
The strong Russian compsrised of world title challenger and world no 9 Grandmaster Sergey Karjakin, world no 4 GM Vladimir Kramnik, world no 21 GM Ian Nepomniachtchi and world no 13 GM Alexander Grischuk).
