Indian-origin man found murdered in Malaysia

An Indian-origin man in his 30's has been brutally murdered here in the Malaysian capital, a media report said today.
A passer-by alerted the police yesterday when he stumbled upon a body lying by the side of the Kampung Sungai Kandis road in Shah Alam city in west Kuala Lumpur.
"There were injuries on the victim's head, bruises near the eyes and body, adding that this indicated that the killer was armed with a blunt object," Shah Alam police chief ACP Shafien Mamat was quoted as saying by The Malaysian Insider.
The victim in his 30s was of Indian descent whose body has been sent to a hospital for post-mortem.

Mamat urged people with a missing family member to contact the police to facilitate investigations.
