Rakesh Bhayani, 40, and Nicholas Kutner, 47, appeared in court via video-link from the Wandsworth prison today and confirmed their identities. No application for bail was made and the two were remanded in custody.
Waugh's body was found in a garage in south-west London, on August 2 after the 50-year-old was reported missing in May.
Waugh, who worked as oil executive in Libya, was reported missing by her family who had last spoken to her on April 16.
Bhayani and Kutner have previously been charged with fraud offences linked to Waugh's disappearance. Bhayani was jointly accused of stabbing Waugh to death and stashing her body in a lock-up garage.
So far 11 people have been arrested in connection with the case.
