Indian Science Communication Congress held at IIMC

Over 300 scientists and communicators converged for the 17th Indian Science Communication Congress (ISCC-2017) here today, according to a release.
The two-event, which began at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), aims at promoting communication of India's scientific wisdom.
"Creating awareness and building a scientific temperament in the society are responsibilities of every communicator and this congress is a major step in that direction," IIMC DG K G Suresh said.
A book, 'Disasters-Short Stories, Essays & Anecdotes', was also released on this occasion, the release said.
