Indian team switch over to different practice session: Hussain

"Our practice pattern is completely different now. It's always ball practice. That was the reason we could play some good passing game yesterday," Hussain said here.

"We could stop their (Cameroon's) wing play. They had two dangerous wingers and it did the trick," he added.

Hussain along with Syed Rahim Nabi, Nirmal Chhetri and Sanju Pradhan returned to the city as it was celebration time back home.

"I'm flooded with phone calls and congratulatory text messages. It's certainly a proud moment. We could do something. It's a memorable day," Hussain added.

Nabi said, "It's a very happy day at the family. We are celebrating the occasion."

Hussain and Nabi play for rival clubs East Bengal and Mohun Bagan at the club-level but the duo said they were friends after 90 minutes of rivalry on the field.

"It's back to friendship after the 90 minutes. Yes on the ground we don't recognise each other. It's intense fight. But there's no hard feelings after the match," Nabi said.

India won the Nehru Cup for a third time in the trot stunning higher-ranked Cameroon 5-4 in the penalty shootout after a 2-2 deadlock.
