Having ensured four gold and four silver medals making it an all-Indian finals in the individual events yesterday, there was no stopping the hosts in the team events as well.
In the afternoon session, recurve women and compound men's teams confirmed two more final berths as India stand to benefit heavily with the inclusion of the non-Olympic category of compound section for the first time in the Games.
"Here we don't have to do anything extraordinary, average scoring will see us through easily," Olympian Indian archer Jayanta Talukdar told PTI summing up their dominance at the South-Asian level.
In the recurve section finals, men's and women's teams will clash against Sri Lanka for the gold medal.

In the compound section finals, India men will clash against Bhutan while women's got a bye into the final where they take on Bangladesh.
India had got a bye into the semis by virute of topping the elimination round as Rai and Besra started the proceedings followed by Talukdar in the two-set of three arrows each format.
The men's trio edged out Bhutanese 55-52 to take a 2-0 lead before the latter levelled the second end 52-52. But the Indians settled the issue in the third end with a 58-55 win.
The compound men's team of Abhishek, Rajat Chauhan and Manash Jyoti Changmai also secured an easy 233-215 win over Nepal's Udaya Indrajith, Kanishka Weerasinghe and Dhushy Tillavasan.
The compound women's team of Purvasha Shende, Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Lily Chanu Paonam, who have got a bye into the final of the four-team draw after topping the elimination, spent the day training as they had to just wait for their final opponents.
