The woman, said to have murdered her husband at their home in Bahrain's capital Manama in April, was charged with premeditated murder and she appeared in the court yesterday to deny the allegations.
Three other people, including the victim's brother, have been charged with aiding and abetting the murder.
However, they did not appear at yesterday's hearing having been earlier released on bail, the Gulf Daily News reported.
The woman, who was married for eight years, told prosecutors that her husband committed suicide by stabbing himself in the neck, chest and abdomen because of financial problems.
The trial has been adjourned till November 6.
