Activists of Hindu organisations today continued with their protest against the killing of seven Amarnath yatra pilgrims by militants, prompting the police to divert route of the two 'Sada-e-Sarhad' Indo-Pak buses.
Protesters marched from the Hanumangarhi temple complex here and converged outside the bus stand along the National Highway-I and burnt a Pakistani flag.
Because of the protest, the Lahore-bound Indian bus coming from New Delhi was diverted via Phillaur, Jandiala, Jalandhar onwards while Delhi-bound Pakistani bus coming from Lahore was diverted via Subhanpur, Kapurthala, Jandiala, Phillaur onwards, officials said.
Addressing protesters, Deepak Bhardwaj, president of the Punjab unit of the All India Hindu Suraksha Samiti asked the Centre to take strict action against Pakistan.
