Addressing the students of Mizoram University, Hall said "It is a great time to be a US diplomat in India, as relations between the two countries have never been stronger and are expanding at a very quick pace."
He emphasised on regional connectivity, cross-border trade, security, health and education as pillars of the Indo-US strategic partnership.
The Consul General, who arrived here yesterday met the state Governor Nirbhay Sharma and Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla with whom he had positive discussions on the future of Indo-US relations, with an emphasis on the role of Mizoram, a press statement issued by the Public Affairs Office of the US Consulate said.
