today protested the barricading at Dhar's Bhojshala complex ahead of the upcoming Basant Panchami celebrations on February 15 and warned that no other community will be allowed to hold prayers at the site on that day--a Friday. Over 25,000 devotees including sants from all over the country would participate in the day-long prayers at the site and no one will be allowed to hold any Juma-Namaz, Ashok Jain of the MBUS told a press conference here after police put up a temporary security cover in the area. The complex is home to Ma Vagdevi (Saraswati) temple and Kamal Maula Mosque. Routinely, every Tuesday Hindus offer prayers at Bhojshala while Muslims offer Namaz every Friday. It is a coincidence that Basant Panchami and the Friday Jumma Namaz this year are falling on the same day--Feb 15. "We have informed the district administration about our decision to go for whole day prayers and religious ceremony. It has to decide whom they allow for prayers independently", said Prem Singh Solanki, Malwa Prant Jangran Manhch's co-convenor.
