To prevent patients from contracting rodent-borne infections and provide a hygienic and clean ambiance, a month- long drive has been launched at a cost of Rs 55 lakh at the hospital, a senior official said today.
A private company has been hired to make the hospital, which is said to be the biggest government health facility in Madhya Pradesh, free of rodents by Dec. 3, Indore Division Commissioner Sanjay Dubey told reporters here.
The MY Hospital has about 950 beds but, on any given day, it houses between 1,100 to 1,200 patients, Dubey added.
