Industrial oils slip on reduced demand

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial prices slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on stockist selling amid reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
However, refined palmoil edged-up due to mild off-take from retailers.
Groundnutoil and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In non-edible segment, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 125 per 100 kg to Rs 4,075 from Monday's closing level of Rs 4,200 and castoroil commercial fell by Rs 25 per 10 kg to Rs 845 as against Rs 870 yesterday.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 815 per 10 kg.

Moving to edible section, refined palmolein inched-up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 481. However, groundnut oil closed unaltered at Rs 815 per 10 kg.
