Industrial oils surge on persistent demand

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial surged further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to persistent demand from shippers and soap manufacturing units.
While, refined palmolein edged-down on mild offtake from retailers.
Groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold jumped by Rs 210 per 100 kg to Rs 4,700 from Friday's closing level of Rs 4,490 and castoroil commercial rose by Rs 42 per 10 kg to Rs 970 as against Rs 928 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 830 per 10 kg.

Moving to edible-section, refined palmolein inched-down by a Re per kg to Rs 575. However, groundnut oil closed unaltered at Rs 1,000 per 10 kg.
