Industry mourns passing away of R P Goenka

Several industrialists condoled the demise of RPG Enterprises founder R P Goenka, who passed away this morning.
G P Goenka, younger brother of R P Goenka, said "it is a very sad day for me and I have no word to express my feelings."
The brothers parted their business relations several years back and split the erstwhile Duncan Group into RPG Enterprises of R P Goenka and Duncans Goenka Group of G P Goenka.
CII president S Gopalakrishnan, condoling the death, said "one of the tallest business leaders has passed away from our midst and India has lost one of the doyens of business."

Industrialist Harsh Neotia, who was there at the Goenka residence at Alipore in South Kolkata, said "it is a personal loss as I am close to the Goenka family. It is a blow to the industry.
