A day before Infosys is slated to announce its quarterly earnings, its head of cloud, infrastructure and security business Samson David has put in his papers.
An Infosys spokesperson confirmed David's exit from the company but didn't divulge details.
David is tipped to join Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.
Infosys, which has been undergoing a turnaround under Sikka's leadership, has seen a string of senior leaders quitting the country's second largest IT firm.
Since Sikka took over as CEO in August 2014, many senior executives have left the company. These include high-profile names like chief financial officer Rajiv Bansal, head of manufacturing and EVP Sanjay Jalona, Infosys BPO head and EVP Gautam Thakkar and Infosys EdgeVerve head and EVP Michael Reh.
David had been tasked by chief executive Vishal Sikka to spearhead Infosys' flagship artificial intelligence platform 'Mana'. He had joined Infosys as a trainee software engineer in 1992.
