Infosys to announce Q1 results on July 11

Country's second largest software services firm Infosys today said it will announce its earnings for the April-June 2014 quarter on July 11.
"The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on July 11, 2014 to consider the audited financial results of the company for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 (Q1)," Infosys said in a filing to the BSE.
The audited consolidated financial results of the company and its subsidiaries for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 will also be considered, it added.

World BPO Foundation partners Medanta
* World BPO Foundation today said it is partnering hospital group Medanta to organise a special BPO health support program to address the health concerns of BPO employees across north India.
The health camps, starting first week of July 2014, would address specific concerns like stress, hypertension, ENT ailments, consumption of tobacco and alcohol and its adverse effects.

The programme will also include awareness sessions with Medanta experts followed by a free consultation. Efforts are on to bring special pricing at Medanta, for those who may need further treatment.

IDBI Bank launches mobile banking service on 50th anninversary * State-run lender IDBI Bank launched a mobile banking service for its customers apart from launching 50 branches as the infra-lender-turned bank celebrated its 50th anninversary today.
The facility can be accessed from any handset and customers can undertake multiple transactions including fund transfers and bill payments to merchants using their mobile phones, the bank said in a statement.
It can be noted that almost all the major players in the industry already have very active mobile banking applications and are witnessing higher adoptions which is signalling a maturity in the service.
