With the Swachh Bharat Mission being one of the pet goals of the NDA government, Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today visited the exhibition -- based on the theme of 'Clean India' -- and showed keen interest in the innovative products designed to assist in cleanliness efforts.
About 60 innovations relating to cleanliness are on show as part of the week-long exhibition, which wraps up tomorrow.
Some of the products include the 'Super Stocker Model Dustbin', 'Solar Street Light', 'Motorised Wrapper Picker', 'Bicycle-Based Road Cleaner', 'Sanitary Napkin Destroyer', 'Kitchen-Waste Digester', 'Sea-Bench Cleaner', 'Septic Tank with Baffle System', 'Water Hyacinth Remover' and 'Automatic Chlorine Doser'.
Naidu complimented the innovators and gave an account of their innovations and thanked the President for taking the initiative of organising the week-long exhibition with the assistance of the National Innovation Foundation.
