Inox Wind shares end over 6% lower, m-cap dips by Rs 269 cr

Shares of wind turbine maker Inox Wind ended over 6 per cent lower today after the company reported an 80 per cent decline in consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June 30.
After plunging 16 per cent to Rs 161 in intra-day trade, shares of the company finally settled at Rs 179.70, down 6.33 per cent on BSE.
On NSE, shares of the company dropped 5.84 per cent to close at Rs 180.45.
The company's market valuation declined by Rs 269.13 crore to Rs 3,987.87 crore.
In terms of volume, 4.72 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 27 lakh shares changed hands on NSE during the day.
Inox Wind on Friday reported an 80 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 11.82 crore for the quarter.
