Inox Wind stock gains over 3% on bagging two wind energy projs

Inox Wind shares today rose over 3 per cent after it bagged two wind energy projects totalling 70 MW from Adani Green Energy, an arm of Adani Enterprises.
The company's scrip gained 3.38 per cent to settle at Rs 252.35 on BSE. During the day, it climbed 5.2 per cent to Rs 256.80.
On NSE, the stock ended with 3.35 per cent gains at Rs 252.95.
The company added Rs 183.11 crore in market valuation to Rs 5,600.11 crore.
"Inox Wind inked two contracts for a cumulative capacity of 70 MW with Adani Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited and part of the Adani Group," Inox Wind Ltd said in a BSE filing.
According to the statement, Adani had entered into the wind energy segment by placing the company's first orders for wind turbine generators with Inox Wind.
The orders represent Adani Group's maiden foray into the wind energy segment and encompass a 50 MW turnkey project to be set up in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district and a 20 MW turnkey project at Inox Wind's Lahori site in Madhya Pradesh.
