Int'l ayurveda conference to discuss interconnectedness of man

: The fifth International Ayurved conference, beginning on the city outskirts from December 11, will discuss interconnectedness of man and nature and also how movements of planets impacted climate change and global warming.
The five-day event, based on the theme 'Ayurveda-where science meets consciousness.Exploring Interconnectedness of man nature," will be held at Vaidyagrama Ayurveda Healing Village, just two kms from Chavadi checkp off the NH 47 to Palakkad, Managing Director of Arya Vaidya Pharmacy P K Krishnakumar, one of the chief patrons of the conference, told reporters here today.
The first three days would be a preparatory one, while the main conference on Dec 14 will be attended by over 500 delegates from India and abroad, he said.
Organised by Punarnava Ayurveda Trust,this is a conference and un-conference at the same time,where there is a structured part and an unstructured element facilitating deeper learning and experience of myriad benefits of a lifetime, he said.
Ayurveda, along side yoga, astrology, philosophy, vastu and various Indian Knowledge systems would be the core areas e discussed, with climate change and global warming finding an important place, Krishnakumar said.
The conference will also have satsangs, expo, demonstrations, rare poojas for the Navagrahas, yoga and ayurveda students would be offered a chance to meet experts from across the world, Healing Village Medical Director A R Ramadas said.
Each day of the conferece is devoted to the study and understanDing of a specific graha/planet and its influence on man, his health and life, Ramadas said.
