The announcement was made here by actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar.
The first MIFTA function was held in Dubai, followed by London last year.
A total of 44 awards in various categories will be given away.
In reply to a question, Manjrekar, who tasted success in Hindi films with Sanjay Dutt-starring 'Vastav', said the Marathi film industry could match up to the Bollywood.
