Intech DMLS launches first indigenously developed jet engine

Intech DMLS, metal 3D printing provider and metal additive manufacturing establishment in aviation sector, has announced the launch of country's first indigenously developed Jet Engine series.
"Under the brand name Poeir Jets, promoted by Poeir Jets Pvt Ltd, an R&D subsidiary of Intech DMLS, has unveiled its first series of Jet engines for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) & Remote Controlled (R/C) Aircraft," the company said in a statement.
With this India has become the first country in Asia and only the fourth country after the US, Europe and Israel to indigenously develop such an engine in the private space, they claimed.
Bangaluru-based Intech DMLS, currently works with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL); Defense Research Development Organisation (DRDO) for many of their projects along with other leading global OEM's in the aerospace and engineering sector.
