The high altitude tribal areas groaned under biting cold wave conditions with minimum temperatures ranging between minus 8 and minus 15 degrees while Kalpa and Keylong in tribal Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti districts recorded a low of minus 3.8 and minus 3.1 degrees.
Kothi neat Rohtang pass gauged 3 cm of snow while Kalpa and Keylong had 2 cm of precipitation and Manali and Saluni in Chamba district got 7 mm and 3 mm of rains.
