Sriganganagar was the hottest place in the state with a maximum of 48.3 degrees Celsius followed by Churu which recorded a high of 48 degrees Celsius.
Kota, Pilani, Bikaner and Jaipur recorded maximum temperatures of 47.2 degrees Celsius, 47.1 degrees Celsius, 46.4 degrees Celsius, and 45.1 degrees Celsius respectively.
Jaisalmer registered a high of 44.7 degrees Celsius, followed by Barmer 44 degrees Celsius and Ajmer 43.6 degrees Celsius, the local MeT department said.
The weatherman has predicted that severe heat wave conditions will prevail at a few places in the state till tomorrow.
