Bhiwani was hotter by four notches than normal with a high of 45.2 degree Celsius while Hisar sweltered at 44.7 degree Celsius, also four degrees above normal, the MeT report said here.
In Punjab, Amritsar continued to reel under the heat wave with a high of 43.6 degree Celsius, up five notches.
While the maximum temperature in Ludhiana was recorded at 43.5 degree Celsius, up four notches, Patiala's maximum settled at 43.4 degrees, also four degrees above normal level.
