Inter-state arms dealers' gang busted, 2 held

Uttarakhand STF and Udhamsingh Nagar police have busted an inter-state gang of illegal arms dealers with the arrest of two persons.
Mohd Shamim from Ferozabad in Uttar Pradesh and Lakhwinder Singh were arrested yesterday from Sitarganj area of Udhamsingh Nagar district, police sources said.
One .32 bore pistol and cartridges were recovered from the duo, they said.
Preliminary inquiries have revealed that the duo procured illegal arms and ammunition from Munger in Bihar and supplied them in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
